The short version: Polly stores everything you enter locally on your iPhone using Apple's SwiftData framework. There is no account, no server, and no third-party data sharing. Polly does not collect or transmit your health data anywhere.
Polly does not require you to create an account and does not collect your name, email address, or any other identifying information in order to use the app.
All data you enter into Polly — including cycle dates, symptoms, lab values, medications, and notes — is stored exclusively on your device using Apple's on-device SwiftData storage framework. This data is never transmitted to Polly's developer or to any third party.
If you choose to connect Apple Health, Polly reads and writes data through Apple's HealthKit framework under permissions you explicitly grant. This data exchange happens directly between Polly and the Health app on your device, governed by Apple's own HealthKit privacy protections — it does not pass through any server we operate.
Polly+ subscriptions and the lifetime purchase are processed entirely by Apple through StoreKit. Polly's developer never receives your payment information. The only network communication Polly performs related to subscriptions is the standard App Store receipt validation, handled directly between your device and Apple's servers.
Because all data lives only on your device, deleting the Polly app deletes all associated data immediately and permanently. There is no copy retained anywhere else.
Polly does not include any analytics SDK, advertising SDK, or third-party tracking library. No usage data, device identifiers, or health information is collected or transmitted for analytics purposes.
Polly is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect any information from children, consistent with the fact that the app collects no information from anyone.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a revised "Last updated" date.
