• All audio data is stored locally on your device
• Audio clips are saved in the App's document directory

Sleep Session Data

The App collects and stores information about your sleep sessions locally on your device.

What we collect:

• Sleep session start and end times
• Snore event timestamps, durations, and loudness measurements (in decibels)
• Total snore count and cumulative snore duration per session
• Detection settings and preferences

How we use it:

• To display your sleep history and session details
• To generate charts and analytics about your snoring patterns
• To provide statistics and insights about your sleep quality

Storage:

• All session data is stored locally using SwiftData
• Data remains on your device and is never transmitted externally

• The App requires microphone access to function; revoking access will prevent snore detection

Data Deletion

• You can delete individual sleep sessions from within the App
• Deleting a session removes all associated snore events and audio files
• You can delete the App at any time, which removes all stored data from your device

Settings Control

• You can customize detection settings including sensitivity, frequency ranges, and thresholds
• All settings are stored locally and can be modified at any time

Children's Privacy

SnoreSense is suitable for users of all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Since all data is stored locally and never transmitted externally, there is minimal privacy risk for users of any age.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy in the App and updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.

Data Retention

• Sleep session data and audio clips are retained until you delete them
• You can delete individual sessions or all data by uninstalling the App
• There is no automatic data deletion or expiration

Audio Processing

• Audio is processed using Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) analysis
• Processing occurs in real-time on your device
• Only audio clips of detected snoring events are saved
• Background audio mode is used to continue monitoring during sleep

Privacy Manifest

SnoreSense includes a privacy manifest (PrivacyInfo.xcprivacy) that declares:

• Audio data collection for app functionality
• UserDefaults API usage for settings storage
• File timestamp API usage for audio file management
• No tracking or data linking
